As we are selling our accessories and home decoration not only over our online-shop http://www.silviagattin.com but also through our international stockists, we thought it’s about time to start presenting you our wonderful partners and interesting ladies with lots of taste.
This month we’re happy to present MONADICO in Zurich, Switzerland, who offers amongst others our Moroccan, handmade berber baskets.
Silvia Brunschwiler is the owner of MONADICO and she answered some questions to give you a little impression:
Since when does MONADICO exist?
We first opened the doors of MONADICO Concept Store (also check out MONADICO Shoes) in April 2014.
Where is the shop located and why did you choose that exact spot?
You can find us in Seefeldstrasse 56 in Zurich. I also live in that area (Seefeld) and I love its’ sympathic people, the small but exciting shops and the fact that it is located directly at the lake.
It was clear from the beginning, that I would want to open the concept store in Seefeld.
How do you choose your partners and how many different labels are available at your shop?
Our offer is quite diverse and we cover interior objects, clothes, jewellery as well as lifestyle products. Therefore the number of lables varys a lot.
But most of them are based in nordic countries. We focus on unique labels (MONADICO is greek for unique) and we are trying to support local designers and newcomers.
Also fairtrade is an important aspect, when choosing new partners.
Which additional activities are scheduled for the next months? (pop-up stores, markets, sales, etc.)
We’ll have a nightshopping event in summer/fall, where Seefeld’s most beautiful stores will stay open longer and offer individual activities. Of course we will be part of it!
Do you have an online-shop?
We don’t sell the products online, but on our homepage and facebook page you’ll get a good impression of our shop.
We say: the next time you visit Zurich, this is an absolute must-do on your list.
Silvia put so much detail and love into this place, it’s worth going there to just have a look at the shop.
